Who we are

Red Dawg Excavating is a residential excavation company based in Cody, Wyoming, proudly serving the Big Horn Basin with honest and dependable dirt work services. I’m Brian LaVenture, owner and operator, with over 10 years in the excavation industry. I started out assisting with monster basement excavations for custom homes and went on to a lead role in ski area construction, digging trench for pipelines and clearing terrain for ski lifts in demanding mountain conditions.

At Red Dawg Excavating, we handle every job with the same hard work and integrity we’d expect for own home. We show up when we say we will, we do what we promise, and stand by our work- so you can build with confidence from the ground up.
